Movement; someone was shaking him, pulling him out of the unconcious darkness. Hands were upon his shoulders... warm, not like the flames he heard crackling around him, but warm with life. Ausher slowly opened his eyes, seeing the paniced sky-blue gems of someone he knew all too well.
"Mich... Well then," the vampire chuckled as Mich's face relaxed in relief. "Never knew I had a gaurdian angel..."

These two characters belong to Kelsey-vash-sama, a great friend of mine who had a birthday a couple weeks back. I know I have two other pictures I owe Twinkie-chan and Duo-chan, but after I scanned all three linearts I couldn't resist coloring this one! Gomen gomen gomen!! Duo-chan, I started yours right after and Twinkie-chan's is after, I promise this time!
Anywho, as you have probably figured out, Aush is a vampire and Mich a human. When thinking up this picture, I was considering having Ausher, the stronger of the two, comforting Mich about something. Then I thought "Wait... that's just not fair! Aush is always helping out Mich... it's time Mich got to repay him!" What if Aush was in danger and it was Mich's turn to save him??? AWEEE!! I couldn't resist! Kind of inspired (unintentionally) by Yami no Matsuei.
So here's to a great gal and her great chars! Gotta luv 'em!!
Thank you! I tried a more 'painty' style of coloring with this. (especially on the skin) Usually I'm too impatient and i'm like "bleh.... FILL TOOL!!!! "
Thank you as well for the fav!!!! Is it your goal to make me super happy today? Well, that is what you are doing!!!
Thanx so much for taking time to look at my art! And DARK ANGEL AVATAR YO!!!! Why did they cancel that series before we got to see the end?!?! JOSHUA!!!
Lol!! Well, whatever you did on this piece, is absolutely beautiful! And the small story I read in the Artist's Comments (your comments). Really, this is just so beautiful.
Your welcome. Well, I only make people happy because....uh...I want to!!
And again, you're so very much welcome. *sighs...I know!! They can't do this to us!! Cancelling such a great show!! MAX!!!
*Sniffs* I want someone to rescure me like that... Well, as long as I'm not all wounded and beset by ouchies like a certain vampire I see before me, I have a bad pain threshold. I loooooove piccies like this, make me all warm and fuzzy inside they do! ^__^ You portrayed the interaction between Aush and Mich beautifully, I love the expressions on their faces - you can see the affection and concern shining through, and Mich's eyes really are a lovely sky blue...
You pulled off Aush's pose very well, I'd be pulling my hair out if I had to try to draw something like that since I'd get so confused with all the particular turns of the body! The colouring is soft and soothing with nice details, like the reflection of yellow flames on skin and clothes. ^^ I do find myself wondering what on earth happened to cause all that fire and wounding, was there a big fight going on? Anyhoo, great work Ms. Skye!!

Zeno! So happy to be beset by your lovely comments again!! I still have one of your artistic works in my message box I have yet to visit. Ah, our busy lives, eh?
But thank you so much for the inspiring comment!! Yeah, wouldn't it be nice to be rescued like that? :sigh: Then again, I much would rather do the rescuing! I'm the type of gal who doesn't want to depend on anyone for help! BUT that does not mean I wouldn't mind being rescued; that would make me feel warm and fuzzy!
Thank you for the comment on the expressions too! :blushing: I always take a bazillion years to figure out expressions - something I need to work on. So I'm glad these ones were successful!
As for what caused all the havoc.... .... I guess I didn't think that part through! Perhaps he was fighting some kind of Hell demon.... who... um.... was mad at him for being a 'good' vampire and not joining his legion of evil? Or something to that effect!! I think Ausher probably put up a good fight, but got a lot of, yes, ouchies in the process.
GLAD to hear from you again!!!! I shall visit thy page soon-est!!
Hee hee, now that I'm on holidays I need to try and get back into the swing of commenting again, uni kept draining all my typing energy so that there was none left for DA! T__T I'm glad to have made a start with your piccy and you're most welcome m'dear, you know I always love commenting on your work! ^^ *Hands you a squishy chocolate bar*
