Hey hey hey ya'all! I just got back from a GREAT trip - out to San Francisco and surrounding areas!!! It was so great, save for the fact that I got a KILLER cold near the end. MAN! I don't get sick much, and when I do it's like "Achoo... I'M BETTER!" But when I'm in Cali... BAM~! Thought I was gonna die.

Anywho, while I was out there I hooked up with two friends from Sheridan and you'll never guess where I got a tour of.... PIXAR!!!!!! Oh man, it was everything I dreamed and hoped it would be! I couldn't take pictures (save for the lobby) so I just tried to soak everything my friends showed me into my internal memory!! (which is a bit glitchy I'm afraid... okay so make that SEVERELY glitchy... ) I also saw the latest Pixar movie "UP" where at the end I saw my friends names in the credits!! OMG I was so excited, like I myself worked there or something!!! I am filled with gratitude for this experience!

I also drove around with my trusty GPS in search of studios to shmooze with (hoping that my hyper personality is what has been missing in my previous fruitless job applications) Unfortunatly, most of the addresses I had led me to warehouses or vacated offices. I did drop off a couple portfolio packages though! MUST THINK POSATIVE THOUGHTS!!!

GREENPEACE - while I was out there, I joined! So now I really want to get serious about living conciencious life. In the past I was all about the free range meat and cage free eggs... but it is time I start taking responsiblity not only for the food I consume, but other consumer items! I am very psyched about it all! I am currently researching where I can buy DVD cases for my demo reel that are made of recycled material and can be recycled again! And I'm going to buy 100% recycled paper to print my portfolio on! WEEEE!!

I know there is no perfect solution, but I just want to do all I can with the knowledge I obtain everyday. I really want to get this book National Geographic has out about being a concious consumer... I should have bought it when I saw it in the aquariums in Cali... Ah well!

Alright, I have blah blahed enough! I'm just feeling more posative than usual, and wanted to share my mood!
